Dr. Maddox Bridges
Practice Owner

Dr. Maddox Bridges grew up in Brinson, Georgia, where he now lives with his wife, Katie Bridges. He received his Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Agribusiness from the University of Georgia which further encouraged his desire to pursue veterinary medicine.  He attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine to obtain his veterinary degree, and he completed his clinical year at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. In school, Dr. Bridges discovered he loved to perform surgery and establish relationships with his patients and pet owners. In his free time, he enjoys saltwater fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and pets.

Dr. Russell Henley

Dr. Russell Henley grew up right here in Colquitt, GA. He attended the University of Georgia where he graduated with his DVM in 1988. He practiced for a time in Griffin and Macon, Georgia, before heading back home in 1999 to open Colquitt Animal Hospital to serve the needs of his hometown community. He especially loves small animal surgery and internal medicine, particularly disorders of the adrenal gland. In his spare time, Dr. Henley loves hiking, biking, running and playing basketball. He shares his home with his wife, Lynn, daughter, Victoria, and his dogs Corndog and Chanel.

Shea Phillips
Veterinary Assistant

Shea has been a part of Colquitt Animal Hospital since 2003. She began her career while in high school working as a kennel assistant. Throughout her time here, she has established herself as a skilled veterinary assistant, and a stellar inventory manager. Her favorite part of her job is wound care and laboratory analysis. In her time off, she enjoys going to the beach, kayaking, and fishing. She is also a Sunday school teacher. She and her husband are the proud owners of a goofy cat named Batty, and a small, neutered colony of outdoor cats.

Tyanna Staples
Veterinary Assistant

Tyanna was raised in Donalsonville, Ga. She started working as a kennel assistant at Colquitt Animal Hospital in 2021. She is currently cross-training as a Veterinary Assistant. Her favorite part of her job is loving on the animals and making them comfortable during their stay. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her 2 dogs Nipper and Rusty, and her cat, Nikki.

Leigha Sapp, LVT

Leigha was born and raised in Bainbridge, GA. She started working here as a Veterinary Assistant in 2022, and got her degree in Veterinary Technology in 2023. Her favorite part of the job is laboratory analysis and helping those who cannot help themselves. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her 3 cats and her pups Angel and Gizmoe.

Brooklyn Strickland
Veterinary Assistant

Brooklyn grew up in Donalsonville, Georgia. She began working here at Colquitt Animal Hospital in 2019 as a kennel assistant. After taking some time away to finish school, she returned in summer of 2021 to take on a Veterinary Assistant role. Her favorite part of the job is dentistry and critical care cases. Brooklyn enjoys spending time with her husband and small herd of pets.

CJ Johnson
Veterinary Assistant

CJ was born here in Colquitt, but grew up in Tampa, FL. He returned home and started working here in 2022 as a Kennel Assistant. Last year, he started training as a Veterinary Assistant, but continues helping with patient care in the kennels on the weekends. His favorite part of his job is surgical assisting and spending time with the animals. In his spare time he enjoys gaming and collecting shoes. He shares his home with his dog, Porsche, his cat Scarlett, and his turtle, Krush.

Practice Manager

Randi Roberts

Randi grew up in a suburb of Dallas, TX. In 2012, she settled here in Colquitt, GA. In 2016, she started working at Colquitt Animal Hospital as a kennel assistant. In 2017, she was trained as a veterinary assistant. She especially enjoyed laboratory analysis and parasitology. She was then cross trained to work the reception desk as well. In April 2019, she was offered the Hospital Manager position. She loves problem solving, and helping her employees, patients and clients feel cared for and valued. In her spare time, she enjoys going on cruises, gaming, and yoga. She shares her home with her husband, Kyle, and her 3 dogs: Nitro, Kirby and Levi.
